91 F150 ign. problem
Dear sir
My 91 ford f150 has developed an intermittent ignition problem characterized by occasional stalling,dropping revs with constant pedal pressure,failure to pick up on acceleration,and
intermittent check engine light.No power up hills
with spluttering of the engine when put under load. The mechanic said fuel pressure was ok and put in a new filter.No codes when he checked it.
he cleaned the battery terminals and sure enough the problem seemed to have resolved. A week later and it's back. The idle has also been a little rough lately.
