Angry Goofy Warning Light

I took my '00 Expedition in to have the spark plugs changed last Saturday. 2 minutes after I left the shop, the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light came on. The shop hooked up the code reader and found the Expe running to lean, so they changed the fuel filter.
Ran great yesterday, but after an hour of drive time today, the warning light came back on. Any ideas? This is becoming a pain.
BTW, The warning light has never came on until now with 64K Miles.
Thanks.

P.S. Thanks to all of you for the replies.........

Did the techs touch the PCV valve or related tubing? Damage to this system will create an air leak that will trigger lean codes.

I will be taking it back in tomorrow, and we'll see what they say about it. I will mention the possible air leak to the Senior Mechanic. Thank you for your reply.

Paul,
You were right, the PVC Valve did not seal and produced the "Lean" code. Good call on your part. You're the MAN today!!

As a wealthy friend once told me, "You know everything except how to make money". He paid for that remark.
