That body looks just like my truck did when I got it. Some sore of primer and surface rust burning through it. Wonder what it is. I stripped off that paint, whatever to bare metal and no rusting.
Seem to be quite a few survivors from the PNW. Not exactly Arizona but the mild winters leave something to restore. The bottom 18" of most Effies is usually missing in Iowa.

The bottom 18" may be missing from this one, too, it's just hidden better under the cracks in the right rear corner and behind the bumper. Love the turbine mags, though.

Probably a gallon of bondo and enough screen in that quarter panel to fix a porch, but it still rolls and it's shaped like a panel truck so I like it. Those wheels just scream mid 70's.
Yeah I really like it too. It has "The Look", the stance is right, it's not overdone and is quite inviting as if to say " Let's go for a drive, I won't breakdown ". Now, that being said, I belive this truck to be one advertised for sale locally with a Chevy drive train. I know a lot of us would've preferred a Ford powerplant but at this point it doesn't really matter. The fact that this thing is driving around and looking good is enough to forgive the Chevy thing as far as I'm concerned. I'll be keeping an eye out for another chance to see this one and perhaps visit with the owner and get a closer look, meanwhile enjoy!
