My 53 F100 didn't come with shocks (Front or Back) so I don't have anything to refer to for a length measurement. Now she is ready to be road worth, so I want to install some, at least on the front end.
During my rebuild, I installed the Mid Fifty, Down and Lower Front Spring Kit. Will a stock length shock still work? I was thinking about stopping by my local Napa and seeing what they had for my year? Will this be a good source, or do I need to do some measuring to figure out my length.
All else on the front end suspension is stock, just the spring kit was installed.
