Drivers side window dropps when pushed down

1975 F150 XLT
So when any moderate force is applied downward to my drivers side window the handle windmills and window easily goes down. Are the window regulators serviceable? I have not taken it out yet but my door panels are off. Anything wrong with the Dorman replacements?

I do not think they are serviceable and when you go to replace it, be aware it might be riveted in place (x3) instead of bolts. 73-77 has bolts. 78/79 has rivets. So shows the diagram.

Sounds like the clock spring either broke or came un anchored. It is wound to assist in rollup just enough to counter the glass weight.
