Help Wanted: 99 Ford Explorer
Need help with diagnosing speed control problem for a 99 Explorer, When I try to set my cruise, the control light will flash. and go off, I have replaced the stop light switch, and the speed servo, have also replaced the speed set control switch on the steering wheel. The set speed control switch on yhe steering wheel does not light up when headlights are turned on. The on and off side does light up. The problem does not change. when you try to set the control the speed control, light will flash one time, I would appreciate any feedback on this problem.

How about the speed sensor?
Now this sounds kind of strange, but seems like I saw a thread in here a while back that described this problem and it turned out to be a burned out brake light back there in the taillights. Might be something to look at...
