I just got the .2.0 with LCS adjusters in the rear and the non resi 2.0's in the front. That's all that's available for the front right now. All the Fox resi shocks are back ordered for like 4 months. Not on the truck yet...hope I like them.

Great to hear!

I farm, so we have all sorts of jacked up roads. Don’t find myself flying through the desert much anymore, where I think 2.5’s would shine.

How long did you have to wait for your shocks?

fyi, i had accutune add the lsc adjuster to a rr shock because the off the shelf lsc units were not available. if you find a rr front, the lsc can be added for very short money.

At 6k mi the OEM front nitrogen charged shocks would not even expand on their own when I took them off...crap...
I have the OUO drop brackets to put on, but need a bigger breaker bar to get the OE nuts off 😣
I'm trying to do pretty much exactly what you did, if I can find the parts. Did you get the 0-1.5" of lift front shocks (part #985-26-161) or the longer 2"-3.5" of lift (part #985-26-162)? I can find the longer ones, and I "think" they will work, but I'm not 100% sure. Looks like you only had to adjust the levelers up about 1" to make it level right?

i got the 0-1.5" for what i wanted to do. my understanding is all the shock specs are carried over from the <2019, so with the lowered height of the 2020+ the application is actually 1-2.5".
yes, i have ~25mmm lift and it's almost perfectly level. i plan on going down 5mm to accommodate being level with a little more payload.

Thanks. I don't think I'll lift it more than 2.5", so I better wait for the shorter ones to come back in stock. The longer ones are available now, so I was hoping I could try to make them work.

Didn’t do a level (as I have the plow package and it’s not far off as is), but did go the fox 2.0/accutune route on my 2020 F-350 7.3. Ended up using just the 2.0 IFPs temporarily on the front due to the backorder and 2.0 resi’s with LSC adjustment on the back (adventure tune). Outstanding ride quality, can’t wait till they get the front adjustables back in stock to make that change as well.

2 install issues for DIY on the rear set.

1) due to the length of travel on the rear shocks I couldn’t get a floor jack under the lower shock eye to compress/raise into the mount (they came down to like 2 inches off the ground). Ended up using a bottle jack near the rear of each frame rail to get enough clearance for the floor jack under the lower shock eye.

2) put some kind of bushing friendly lubricant in the top eye to slide on the shock post mount, it will make it ALOT easier.

side note: tried the rancho xl9000s first as I used them previously with good results , however they were not a good fit/ride for this truck for some reason. Felt like the truck was a pogo stick, even turned all the way to 9. Returned under the 90 day ride warranty

x2 used a dab of waterproof grease on the upper bushings. if the non-lsc rr are available, then can add the lsc adjuster, that's what i had done for a few extra bucks...a small piece of wood the width of the mounting bracket and you can jack the lower shock up into place... (side note: i've had better luck with the basic rs5000 over the xl9000)

Last time I checked the non-lsc were not available for the front either. I just back-ordered them from Accutune and will wait. I did find the 2.0 w/lsc for the rear, but Accutune didn't have them. I plan to send them to Accutune for a tune after I get back from a camping trip, but I wanted to try them out first. My first impression around town is that they are a little stiffer, but I think that will change after a tune. Accutune said even on the lowest setting they are pretty stiff on a stock tune and they open them up quite a bit with the Adventure tune.

I just installed the OUO adjustable level kit tonight, along with lighter springs (4800# from 5600#) and the caster shims. Those adjustable levelers are slick.
