AC Vacuum lost
this is grommet
this is the tee that had broken vacuum.
I had the same thing happen to me but it broke inside the rubber so could not see it.
I pulled my hair out as I had vacuum on 1 side but not the other but the 2 lines were in place!
I made a hole and pushed a rubber vacuum line thru and hooked it to the good plastic line inside the truck like Gary said.
I felt any plastic line in the engine bay would get hard and break with the heat, rubber should last a long time.
IIRC I also passed a 3rd rubber line thru as I installed a heater core shut off valve and I had to pick up the supply from inside the truck.
If I had to do it again I would pull the assy. out cut the rubber large enough to pass thru 2 rubber vacuum lines to replace the plastic and have them hook to the plastic inside the truck like I did of the 2 line.
I say this because that rubber part was hard to push the rubber hose thru.
Once the lines were connected you could fill the rubber with black sealer to stop any air from blowing in thru and gaps.

Thanks. I think I will just somehow rip out the existing plastic line in the grommet that will not move otherwise. Then make a hole to run rubber down into cab and connect to plastic. And seal somehow.
Maybe you can cut it just below the lip that holds it in place to remove what is left of the 2 plastic hoses to end up with a round open center grommet?
The easy way is if you can find a new round grommet to fit the hole to run the rubber hose thru to connect to the plastic inside then black RTV to fill the void with it to seal it.
