My 2019 F250 lariat has the back camera and parking sensors, but nothing in front since I don’t have the 360 cameras, and since I’m very often in relatively small parking spots I’d like to have something to help me in front. Of course the best solution would be to add a camera, but it seems nearly impossible and any case very expensive, so the next thing is having parking sensors.

The display is actually pretty similar to the OEM system I have on my wife’s Mercedes, and works reasonably well. It can be located on top of the cockpit, it’s not in the way and gives enough information.
My only problem is that it needs to be connected to the engine bay and I don’t want to have cables around, so here’s the question: how to I get a cable from inside just underneath the windshield to go through the firewall to the engine bay?
