Side bars/steps
in the market for a chrome or ss step bar. which one will give me the most clearance (hugging the cab as much as possible)?? Westin Platinum Series, GO RHINO, Putco, or any others you may have an opinion on. i do not want one that runs from wheel to wheel. thanks for the opions

I made my own stainless bars for the same reason.I dont like how the ones you can buy stick way out and hang too low.The ones that i made are a lot stronger too.I will try to post some pics and if you like i could give you a price for a set.

I bought some Westin side bars. First snow and salt they pitted. That was some of there best. Chromed aluminum, sent them back, I was lucky to get my money back. Only got refund because they didn't get replacements in 30 days.
Now I'm back to the ugly plastic steps.
