Has anyone removed a rear leaf on F250 or 350 4x4 to level the rear with the front. What about putting some low profile 22 or 24's. I'm contemplating this but have only seen a couple trucks on the road with this look. Obvoiusly most people lift these trucks but I load motorcycles in and out on a daily basis and would like to have a lower tailgate height without compromising too much ground clearance etc. I'm not a big offroader but need the 4x4 for ski trips, pulling the boat out and stuff like that.
Wolfmanagh,
That's interesting but it's a little more involved than I want to get, I need the back of my truck for other normal day uses also. Thanks for the reply though.
Thanks.... I like that idea, I'm going to look into it. If it doesn't work out I'll raise the front to get it leveled out like you mentioned is the popular thing to do and probably better for re-sale too.
Maybe talk to your local 4WD shop, a lot of guys with F-250's are looking for the taller 350 block to go with a leveller kit for a small lift and would probably swap you if the shop doesn't have a pair handy.
I have a buddy in Payson right now who'd swap you in half a blink.
