A little more detail on how exactly the seats are uncomfortable for you will help get a better response. Where on your body are you feeling the discomfort? Is it felt simply sitting in the seat while stationary or is it only during driving? What adjustments have you tried to make?
I put on 100 miles yesterday and the back side of my right leg from by butt to the knee.
Seems like all I do is adjust the seats endlessly with no relief.
It also feels like there's a large protrusion into my upper back but the lumbar is all the way deflated.
That's your sciatic nerve. It runs from your L5/S1(IIRC) vertebrae down to you foot. It may not be the seats, per se, but they could aggregate it. I have issues with Ford's stiff foam on lower trims, but thought Lariat and above may be softer. But, I'll deal with stiff foam before I go GM or Dodge.
I drove 860 miles, only stopping for fuel or food. 14 hrs total. My upper right shoulder was killing me. These seats are very firm IMO. My GMC is much more comfortable. Im hoping in time these seats will break in a little more. As mentioned above, your wallet in a back pocket is not good for your back / spine. You have a back issue that may be more apparent in the Ford seats, not to mention a stiffer suspension and more bounce

As a former GM owner, the Ford seats are a more stiff (could be because my GM had nearly 200K miles on it) but now with 6000 on the F-250 the seats are better and better every time I drive it. Keep driving!
I agree on the wallet comments in this thread as well. As I got older I became more and more sensitive to my wallet with the same symptoms as the OP had.
This may sound a tad weird, but I solved most of my “driving pain” issues by changing to thin-sole boat shoes when I drive. I also “relocate” my mini-Costanza wallet when driving for more than 30 minutes.
