Well guys, as Paul Harvey use to say, "and now the rest of the story"
it is not propane. For some reason, the rear tank has a "probane burns cleaner" on ot, so the crackhead assumed it was propane.
It is cng fueled. Cost him $21 to fill the tank from almost empty.

The upside is the buyer got a great deal on what you've described as a very nice van---good on him!

Yea, good deal...in a way. He brought it by last night..
very clean. It was a commuter van but over the years someone removed the rear seats and put 7/8 plywood over the floor then outdoor carpet to make it all open.
Big thing now is rear tank is not connected so it only has a 16 gallon capacity, or around 200 mile range.
I think the rear tank is out of date and instead of paying 2500 to replace, they just disconnected it.
Runs great, and gets about 14 mpg loaded with his tools.

Dunno about the US but my 2004 e350 over here in germany has added propane but still kept the oem gasoline tabk and pump. Basically its just the tank, lines, filters, a second computer and additional injectors. I can switch the fuel to use using a switch on tje dashboard.
check if the oem tank is still there.
my propane tank is mounted underneath the back instead of the spare tire.
