04 5.4 Expy transmission issues
This perplexes me... my transmission started to slip and got worse over the period of a week. I was just getting ready to throw in the towel... then boom.... transmission is fine. Like nothing ever happened. Any ideas what it could be or could have been?

It smells fine, no burning smell... level was a bit low so I topped it off, but I'm not seeing any leaks anywhere. I changed the tranny fluid when I bought it a few years back. Just very strange almost like a valve got stuck inside and then unstuck and now its back to normal.
