When upgrading XL to Sync 3 does screen size change?

On a 2022 when you select the 450 dollar option to the sync 3 does that mean that the screen will be larger or is that just something integrated into the small 4.2 inch screen? (On an XL)

Yes, you get the 8" screen and if I'm not mistaken you get the better DASH screen too instead of the generic BLUE one.

Can you get the navigation option on XL? Can’t find it in the website. If so any idea what it costs?

Nope, no factory installed nav on XL.
You can add it afterward, so I've heard anyway.

Factory navigation isn’t anything special and the maps are not updated frequently.
With that being said, just use your cell phone because the vehicle will be setup to take advantage of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
The navigation apps via either one of these interfaces are far superior to the factory navigation.

Yeah the smart phone works better unless you plan to venture out of cellphone range and need to change your directions (it doesn’t loose the Iphone map once starting even out of range).

I've never had a factory navigation that was OEM in any car that was worth a damn. Just use the apple car play or google. Far better.
