headlight - turn signal alignment

I have a 2000 Ex Limited, V10, I bought aftermarket replacement headlights and front turn signals, just to get nice clean and clear lenses. The signal component doesn't fit quite right. There is a pin that is supposed to be retained back in the body part but it keeps popping out. The truck may have been wrecked, or the quarter panel replaced because the pin striping didn't line up with the door so maybe there isn't a fix. but if anyone has any suggestions for a) getting what I have to fit right or b) a replacement set up, maybe a one piece combo with the headlight??

can you give me any more info? part number or link? the pin does have some slight resistance when I push it in, but the alignment of the bottom part of the assembly is such that it pulls it back out with the slighted movement once driving. thanks in advance, Brian

pop it in place ( hold it there if required). and take a pic showing the gap between the orange lense and the bumper.
me thinks your problem is a simple alignment issue.
