My FDNB said last week scheduling would begin today for the '22 model year. I just looked and so far no updates to my order so I'm not sure if that means it's not happening or if it just hasn't happened yet.
It also said subject to change, we shall see. I'd just like to see something so I know someone is still alive at Ford.
Things are so screwed up right now, if I were you, I would expect nothing to happen for a long time and my new truck to be nonexistent until Fall at the earliest.

I wouldn't expect any 2022 trucks to be delivered before December or early January.
I don't expect it until the end of the year but I don't see any reason some shouldn't be here by fall. there is a chip shortage but that doesn't mean they're nonexistent. but I'm not going to bet on it.
If they do schedule some today that means production is going to start at that time, they won't schedule based on hope . another FDNB should be out tomorrow and if they don't schedule today we'll see how much farther they kick the can down the road.
I'm just ready for some real news even if I don't like it.

I agree that we should all be patient, but December or January is not believable. Have you heard that the KTP has completely shut down until October? I haven't. That would be National "Breaking News" material on all the major networks. I am sure that Ford is doing everything in their power to limit that outcome. Think of the waterfall impact to workers, suppliers, sub-suppliers, dealerships, local economies, etc.
Instead, I expect the chip shortage will continue to chip away at production, but NOT cause a complete extended plant shutdown. What this means is that some people may see their 2022 earlier, while others could be pushed. As early as August? Who knows? Since special orders take priority, dealer inventories are likely(?) to be pushed later than ours. So, therefore, I have faith that this audience will have their trucks delivered earlier this year.
I'd be shocked if 22's are shipping before they complete and ship the 21's that are already ordered.
That being said, I'm one of the people who ordered a '21 in late Feb (order accepted March 2nd) and waiting with cash in hand to get my $85K truck. I'd expect it to be in my driveway before I see a '22 on a lot somewhere.
With all of that, I've just been informed by the dealership to look for it Oct. 31st
I ordered a SRW F-350, but now I'm searching dealers for DRW and F-450's that would fit the bill and might go that route if I can find one.

I think the only delay on the 21s that have been built are components that contain chips affected by the shortages. From what I’ve seen and read, the chip shortage is being relaxed. The Renesas plant is scheduled to be back at full production by the end of this month. I predict you’ll see your truck well before October, but what do I know.

Blue Oval Forum Insider claims that only MY22 "startup" and no "retail" orders will start to be scheduled 5/27.
It would make sense for Ford to continue to pump these trucks out, even without being able to ship them until the chips arrive.
Every single one of them will be sold, that's a fact. Even if it takes a 8 months from order to reception of the unit.
That's not what the FDNB says but it might be. even that would be progress.
It's important to remember Ford isn't going to start production until they have enough chips in their possession and assurances more are on the way in time to stay running. so just because they're delaying the start up doesn't mean they have zero , and that in turn means once they start another shut down won't be imminent.
It's been explained several times that even if MY22 scheduling for KTP did in fact start today, it's for stock orders only. MY22 retail orders will not start scheduling until AFTER five days of zero defects are achieved after the start of Job #1 (which for KTP is currently scheduled for July 9th). So for us with ordered trucks, if no further delays are encountered, we won't see VIN numbers until likely mid to late July at the earliest.
That's not the point, I ordered 2 months ago and don't expect it until September at best. the point is if scheduling does take place today that means there is progress at last
A new bulletin will be out tomorrow hopefully it will show something has changed.
