Elbow Fitting at Windshield Washer Reservoir keeps blowing off
Sounds trivial and easily fixed, but it is not. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it? I replaced my oem windshield washer reservoir with this one below. It does not leak around the pump. Rather the pump blows the elbow fitting at the reservoir off. It is the original oem pump. Are there restrictions in the nozzles causing this? It sprays fine once, then the next time I use it it just blows the elbow fitting off. There is no raised ring at the end of the hard plastic tube on the bottom of the reservoir where the elbow fitting attaches which is a defective design in my opinion, but they all appear to be like that.

I have various sizes of constant tension hose clamps but I didn't trust them to hold the oem elbow fitting on this slick tube. So I found a super small worm drive hose clamp and wiped the inside of the fitting with Q-Tips and the outside of the reservoir tube with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol and clamped it down.
It now sprays and hasn't blown the elbow off yet.
Fingers crossed.
