Turbo rebuild
So back in September I had my turbo rebuilt to a stage 1 with a kc turbo kit and 10 blade wheel. Because it was smoking real bad at idle or whenever you took off from a stop. Shop said the turbo was on the verge of seizing up. So fast forward to now and its back to smoking blue smoke at take offs and the linger the let it idle the more blue smoke comes out at take off. Any chance I could be having turbo issues already?

Reading of pressures can tell alot. Check some of the phone apps if you're not aware of them.
You can check the turbo out in vehicle by removing an internal c-clip and check with a magnet to actuate the variable fins.
Also check the shaft for play and smoothness by hand at the intake.
Smoke can also be due to other reason.

Do you have a tune on it? I had the smoking problem with mine set on economy, was givin advise to switch back to stock. I did that an smoke was gone. I need a tune of some kind for speed limiter and tire size, so I set it on lite tow instead of economy. Works great. I have Torque Pro and watch my vgts on it to make sure my turbo operates correctly, I sit at 65% at idle and go down the low 30's at hard excell. I am still considering a turbo cleaning when I get time. Already have a new ring and vanes. Just need time to do it.
