New to Forums and Ford
Howdy, please forgive me if I don't understand the layout of these forums quite yet. I recently purchased a 2000 Excursion Limited 2WD and I'm turning her into a camper SUV! I took out the third row completely and most of the middle row. (One for a possible four-legged road buddy) I recently fixed the nav display in the overhead console and installed a backup camera. I took out the back bed carpeting to steam clean (the original owner had kids and one got sick and made a huge mess in the insulation. That's airing out right now! I just got the upper parts of the third row seatbelts undone, now I am waiting to borrow a breaker bar ratchet from my dad to get those bottom torx bolts out. She came with the little OEM tv media system but I don't know how to work it. I also have the original stereo with the CD changer and have yet to find a good resource for that as well. She's my first vehicle purchase after years of borrowing my parent's cars.... She's my pride and joy now and I'm happy that there's a community that I can reach out to for help and mutual excitement!

I don't know how to make it turn on or charge, how to find a replacement remote, or how to connect it to the stereo for sound. It's the originally installed unit manufactured in 1999 so I haven't had any luck finding a manual, replacement parts, or tips on getting it to work
