RABS Light On

1989 F250 4WD conversion from gas 351 and C6 auto trans to 7.3 IDI diesel with ZF 5 speed manual. After a couple of years doing this conversion and working out fuel issues etc vehicle drives great!. However, the RABS light is on, regular brake light works as it should. I have replaced the RAB module , sensor and RABS distribution valve, light is still on and related fuses are good. Have performed the diagnostics recommended in the Ford Factory shop manual. The number of flashes are two. According to the shop manual, two flashes mean several things, the last of which is the "diode" may be bad. Nevertheless, I feel that maybe when I changed over the wiring loom in both the frame and under dash to be compatible with the 7.3 diesel I may have possibly made a mistake with the pin position on the under dash loom and the frame loom. This I will have to double check (really not looking forward to that). In regard to the diode, if bad, other than the junk yard, what sources are available for a replacement diode, again not looking forward to pulling the dash to get at that diode.. Otherwise, what may I be overlooking? Is there a compatibility issue with the RABS for diesel versus the gas RABS? Any and all responses are greatly appreciated.

the rabs on these trucks were marginal at best.
my88 has had the rabs bypassed since it was less than a week old after ford could not get it to work.
if that was my truck i would remove the abs bulb from the dash and call it fixed.
