window regulator problems
i finally got to where i can put all my glass back in,so i put windows in but now when i roll window all the way down the regulator comes off the lift with the window still up 2 to 3 in , my question is could i have installed the regulator wrong if so how do you adjust it

If its both windows, you may have them reversed left and right. I had a similar problem with the drivers side after I changed out the piece of metal at the bottom of the window. There is a difference in the pieces.

Nylon window roller attaches to stud on regulator, then fits into the window channel that the glass is adhered to.
The roller is retained in place by a hairpin type clip that is furnished with the roller that's reproduced.
The roller may have broken or the retaining clip could have broken or is missing.
