6.oh power stroke

I have a 2004 f-350 power stroke and when I try to put it in reverse or neutral it’s hard to shift and when it does It drives forward, does anyone know what is causing this?

Most likely the forward clutch has failed and welded itself together. This takes a new trans or rebuild the old one to fix.
