My son just told me that the website he moderates on posted an exclusive interview/article about NVidia's new processor and got:

1.3 BILLION hits in one day alone. It slowed things down a bit...

Keep in mind that a hit is not a visit or even a page view. That home page looks like its 10-20 hits alone based on the number of images.
