So I bought a 1997 CCLB 7.3 f350 with a blown rear diff. I have a spare 10.25 axle to swap the diff from. Has anyone done this before? Any advice/steps? Thank you
Are you swapping thr whole axle or just the carrier? If just doing the carrier I'd get a master rebuild kit when you do it so it comes with new bearings and seals. I'm building a 10.35 right now and got a motive gear kit with Timken bearings. It was about 200 from Summit.
