Post What is this connector for ?
Seen this hanging down from just about every truck by the E-Brake pedal, guess its time to figure out what its for ? Is this my OBD2 ? kidding...... betcha i could talk the Ford tech into it ..

My guess would be trailer brake controller

That is possible, the truck did have one, which i removed years ago.... good call

X2 look for a white block type buzzer mounted on the far fwd L/H side of the firewall/cab corner (behind the dash) and the buzzer should be there.
