6.2 Good exhaust replacement ?
15 ccsb 350 6.2l. I noticed recently more than average noise when idiling and hard acceleration and went under to check it out. Lo and behold the exit side of the resonator rotted out and now the extension /2nd muffler & tail is not sealed and is losse / rattiling. On to the question, is it worth the $800 for a magnaflow cat back or should i just cut the resonator off and patch it with an extension tube. My concern is too much noise/ drone inside the cab with either option. The underside of this truck has taken a ton of abuse from salt
,at 50k now ive replaced most tranny lines ,both dipstick tubes, coil screws all rotted off, so im not too optimistic on the longevity of the rest of the system. Anyone put a magnaflow on this motor? Thanks

I have 2011 CC SB F250 6.2L.What I did after reading forums until my eyes blead was I left the front resonator and removed the rear resonator and muffler. I then replaced the rear muffler with a magana flow and left the rear resonator off. I was worried about drone in the cab that's why I left the front resonator on. It worked because I have no drone and a nice deep tone that's a little louder then stock..

I did an AFE cat back system on my 2011 and absolutely loved it!! Bolted right on and uses original hangers. I like to hear my V8 and this didn't disappoint, very tolerable noise levels at 80mph cruise.
