i have tryed everything like i have put 2 new multi function switches 2 new flashers had the dealer look at it and i still cant figure it out . the hazzards work all the bulbs work the fuses are fine. so what do i do now. OH it is a 1998 ranger 4X4 XLT off road supercab 4.0 V6 . hope u can help
Welcome to the forum Firemanracer17.... The answer to your problem will require wiring diagrams at the very least. If you still have one of the previous multifinction switches, you could mock up a simple turn signal circuit to confirm whether or not it is functioning. Having the hazard flashers working pretty much eliminates any fault beyond the cab of the truck. You'll need the diagrams to determine exactly where the hazards and turn signals join to exit the cab and trace/test the signal circuit back to the m/f switch.
Dealford is correct on the wiring diagrams! We can also speculate on this and say it might be a wiring ground-fault in the turn switch mechanism. Tracing the wiring w/ a meter would be your best bet! __________________________________________________ _

I would start by looking at the connectors at the M-F switch to see if there is a loose wire in one of them. Pretty common problem. If so, the connectors are available seperately to repair if the small clips are broken that hold the wires in.
