6.0 trans cooler for E99

Looking to upgrade trans coolers on my E99. Any fittings or hoses that need changed? Plug and play? Thanks

You will need adapters for the ATF lines to connect to the 6.0 transmission cooler. I welded AN/JIC fittings on mine.

The cooler lines on your truck are 3/8". The fittings on the cooler are 1/2".

I used brass barbed fittings from the hardware store. Did reducing elbows right at the bottom of the rad.

Sealed the threads with loctite 592. Couple fender washers, bit of hose (I used power steering hose) and some clamps for parts.

Remove the grill and ac condenser brackets, install from the top. There is a splash guard and some sort of cross member on the bottom that needs to be removed.
