Looking for something period correct for my '69 Bronco that I recently woke up after 20 or so years in hibernation. I'm hoping to find some with patina and at a reasonable price. I'll mount these on some original 15 x 5.5 or 15 x 6 wheels, unless I can find something a tad bit wider (plan to run 31 x 10.50 x 15 tires).
I'm thinking I should be looking for '60's - '70's F100 4x4 caps, right? Are there several different types of caps available?
The only hubcaps/wheelcovers are these for Early Broncos/F-100's due to the front hubs. There is a pair for the rear with the insert. You could use others but will have to cut out for the hubs on the front. https://shop.broncograveyard.com/196...uctinfo/15198/
And to add to Rich's comment, if you go with any other wheel than the factory 5.5" wide, the hub will be inside of the wheel cover, not sticking through. Made that mistake after I found a set of the 73-79 mag style wheel covers with the hole up front for the hub, only to realize they mount too far out on the 15x8" steelies I bought to run 33x10.5" tires.

Those are ok, but I'm looking for a dog dish style.

Thank for the input. I should have either 15 x 5.5 or 15 x 6 on my truck.
Found these on another site - they are mid-60's Galaxie hubcaps. Have to cut out the centers to use on the front.
Those look good. With a style that mounts on the center, wheel width won’t matter. I had to go 8” wide in order to run a tire of 33”. Really wanted to use the factory wheels but couldn’t find a tire tall enough for my liking, and narrow enough to satisfy the wheel.

Ok, that makes more sense.
FYI - you can indeed run a 10.5" tire on a 5.5" or 6" wheel. Not ideal, but can be done, as long as you mount yourself or find a shop willing to mount.
Yeah I know it could be done, a lot of the older toyota/samurai crowd does it. Read too many post about poor tire wear and ride characteristics and decided to be safe and comfortable. If I ever fully restore the truck I plan on putting a set of new repro bias plies and using them as show wheels with the caps. It was the only set of those hubcaps with the hole(looking back, I think the center FMC medallion can be popped out for hubs) and for $30 a piece in remarkably good condition I couldn’t pass them up. Wimbledon white steelies look good to me too through.
