'87 vs. '82 5.0L shortblocks

'87 vs. '82 5.0L shortblocks
Hey everyone,
I hope someone out there has the answer to this. I have an '87 5.0 EFI F150 4X4 that has a tired motor with little or no oil pressure when it warms up. I have a motor from my '82 laying there that has a shortblock with less than 20K on it. I was hoping to be able to use the shortblock and bolt my EFI heads and accessories to it and put it in my '87. Gopher shows the shortblock to be different stock numbers. One parts guy said he knows the cranks are different. Anyone know if my '87 stuff will bolt to my '82 block? and if it will bolt into my chassis?
