I've seen posts on this forum from people who have put temperature guages in to watch the trans fluid temp. Since then I've been looking for a trans temp guage in stores but haven't found one. Anyone know what to use for this? Just a coolant temp guage? Where do you put the sensor? Do you have to drill a hole into the trans fluid pan?

I have put a trans cooler on the truck so I've got the rubber lines I could put an inline sensor in. Anyone know where to get a temp guage with an inline sensor?

 

I bought mine from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com . They have several different ones. I have a digital one that I think I paid around $35 for.
