Gashog, I think that from now on when I have a question, I'm just going to bypass the forum and PM you directly. It would be so much quicker. Thanks. I thought that since several parts on the summit are Holley, the Secondary dia. most likely was as well.
Do you have any experience with E. fans? I have a dual Contour setup. Both motors are single speed. I'd like to make one come on a bit later than the other, so I don't get such a spike that my msd stumbles, and was wondering if I could use one of the current delay gizmos on ebay and set it for maybe 10 seconds delay. What do you think?
You can experiment with a delay relay or try driving a PWM module. I have even seen people use 12v stereo amp capacitors inline to cure the hard start of the fans. I haven't had the hard start issue or ignition drop out like you posted in the other thread. There also was a company selling soft start fan controls all packaged together. I believe it was a fixed PWM, capacitors and mofsets and was pretty expensive.

Hey Gashog. Thanks again. I really like the dependability of the relay system I have. They are easy to change if need be, and I carry a couple extra with me. I also like the cost. I have seen the soft start controllers (www.autocoolguy.com) but they run about $170 and who knows how long they (it) will last. I will try the delay relay for now.
Also, thanks for the help with the secondary adjustable dia. Cheers.
