Revx to quiet the engine?

I’ve used it a few times, not recently though as it’s so expensive to get over here, and I don’t have cold start problems. Even the wife said the engine was running quieter so the difference in noise levels was significant.

I ran Archoil, which is about $43 for 16oz, which treats one oil change. The engine, or more specifically the injectors, did noticeably become quieter...immediately. My truck would also let off one small puff of blue smoke at startup after sitting overnight. That too seems to be gone...although its not getting as cold overnight anymore, so it could be that.
Would I buy Archoil again? Maybe, but I won't commit to it.
You always need to consider when these trucks were brand new, no additives were needed to make them run smoothly. Snake oil might help a condition that occurs with age and miles like injector stiction, but ultimately it is treating symptoms and not actually fixing the problem.
