Ford FMX squeaking noise
I have a recently rebuilt FMX transmission installed behind a '68 302 in a 1956 F-100 ( about 18 months, maybe 3500 miles on the rebuild). It makes a squeaking noise when you are in Drive and are driving slow. It actually sounds like a brake drum/shoe slight rub, but the noise goes away when you shift into Neutral and coast. And you get the noise in any gear, even in Reverse. The transmission is good otherwise, and the fluid level is just under Full. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
