1991 F150 steering column issue

I've picked up a 91 F150 for just the engine and trans for a swap into my 66 F100. I need to be able to drive it at least for the summer but the steering column is all kinds of rough shape. The one thing I am mostly concerned with is that one of the "tabs" for the three hex bolts that bolt the ignition housing to the shaft has broken off. I've tightened the other two down but the steering wheel is still pretty wobbly. My question is if anyone knows if replacing the steering column tube will give me the tab back? I can't tell from any of the pics of new ones online. None of the junkyards here have a column and they want upwards of $400 online for new ones. Don't want to spend that kind of money on this truck to just be junking it. Thanks in advance for any help.
