Sway bar end links.

02 f350 with Donahoe Racing "Icon" 4.5 hanger lift.
Got a clunk going on in the front end. Pretty sure it's the end links.
The links on the truck seem way to long also.
What is the ideal angle the front sway bar should be at?

I just happened to be waiting for the oil to drain and snapped this image for you. I tried to line up the close and far sway bar ends for a more true representation if the angle.

Thanks again. That's what I needed.

Searching the web it appears that the links I have are what everyone runs with a small lift. Approximately 15"eye to eye. Being lazy, my plan was going to be to just replace the entire link.
Now I'm thinking about cutting them down 3" to get me closer to the stock sway bar angle and installing new bushings.
I've always hated how low these links hang down.

If you want me to take some measurements from a reference point that would be the same on your truck like the upper end link mount, I can do that. I know the image I shared can be viewed or looked at in a number of different ways.

Let me know sir!

You wouldn't happen to have an angle finder?

He's got a Bosch Gravity Rise stand for a dual bevel compound miter saw in the background of his oil drop pic, so I'd say there is a very high probability!

I actually found a phone app angle finder that seems to work pretty well. Come in handy once or twice.

RacinJasonWV told me to get one for the SXE turbo swap, but I neglected to do so... I can try and download an app that might get us something close as udsuth78 suggested. I do have a carpenters protractor, triangle squares and a large level that I can create my own angle finder if you like?

Good lord man... Is there anything that you are not familiar with and could spot from seeing a mere fraction of the object...

Also, that Bosch gravity rise stand is awesome. It will eventually go in the basement in the woodshop and have the ability to fold up and move out of the way when a larger space is required. Having the right tools for the job can make all the difference. I bought the stand and DeWalt dual bevel compound miter saw on sale in March of 2019 and saved nearly $300 with free shipping. Something like a "home improvement" spring sale or something.

Buy once, cry once does not always have to be tears of anguish, it can be tears of joy as well...

Y2KW57, thank you for providing the angle of the sway bar for our fellow FTE'r, very kind of you.

I am still impressed in your ability to spot the Bosch Gravity Rise stand by what was in my image. I almost bought the Bosch saw and it came down to the Bosch or the DeWalt. I ended up getting the DeWalt due to the sale and they were equally appealing to me and my intended use of the saw. The stand is a great piece of equipment though, without a doubt.

Isn't endobear's sway bar on the rear, and Sous and Y2Ks bar is on the front? Same angles apply?
