351w intake manifold

Hello All, I recently posted about putting D0OE heads on my 351w but I have a question. I know these early ones came with 2v and I want to switch to 4v so does anyone know the part number for a stock 16 bolt intake manifold that goes with those heads? We are trying to keep stock parts kind of and stock look even though we realize newer intakes would flow better. This project is really about my sons ideas but my cash. Thanks

Don't have an answer for you Chuck, but joining the discussion to see what others recommend.
This is the first I heard that there might be different bolt patterns. I thought all Windsors, no matter the year, had the same cylinder heads, therefor the same intake needs. If that's the case then you would just look for any car version with a 4bbl carb. No trucks that I know of came with 4bbl carbs on a Windsor, but plenty of cars did I would presume.
Too bad a 302 intake won't work because there should be a lot of those right up to '85!

Anyway, good luck with the search. Sounds like a great combination of your money and your son's ideas. It sounds like a great way to spend some cash and some time.

Paul

1969 was the only year of 351W 4V. 1970 351 4V applications went to the 351C.
1969 351W (except GT350) intake manifold was part number C9OZ9424B. No N.O.S. parts companies have it. I assume this is a highly prized unit.

I have a C9OE-9425-E intake so I guess I'm on the right track to convert to 4v. thanks

This may be a situation where the original part is too rare/cost prohibitive to do in reason. Get an aftermarket dual plane and give it a coat of Corporate blue. Most folks won't know the difference.
