Explorer Drivetrain Into 1965 Econoline
I am wondering if anybody has swapped over the whole drivetrain from an Explorer (5.0 GT40P with auto trans) into an Econoline? I have read about the physical mounting and know that a 240 van is the best place to start. I'm mostly wondering about wiring, and what all is required to make the EFI and automatic transmission work. Would it take aftermarket controllers or could parts from a donor vehicle be used? Thanks for any info!
