Sup guys, a friend of mine stated that I need to have the antifreeze tested for the antivibration? additive that keeps the coolant walls between the pistons from pitting. Any ideas on this and if so at what milage interval should i do this and also how?
I belive he means "cavitiation".
Test strips are available for testing of your anti-freeze.
Depends on what year your PSD is so you get the right test strips for the right type of ant-freeze.
I have a 2002 as well.
It uses the "Gold" coolant only.
Zerex makes a compatible coolant G-05.
Ford claims five years max on coolant I believe.
Some PSD owners recommend changing every couple of years depending on region, type of use, etc.
I believe test strips are available through International dealers.
