2021 has not been a great year so far for me with multiple incidents taking an emotional & financial toll on me. Last night, I made a deal to sell the Excursion. The buyer, who happens to be an old acquaintance from my motorcycling days, currently owns a 7.3 E350 that failed inspection due to rust issues. He is familiar with the FTE, and I pointed him to this sub-forum as well. He will probably tune in to introduce himself soon.
It has been a pleasure being part of this awesome FTE family for the past 5 years. I have downsized to a different SUV as that fits my plans and needs better. I will continue to peruse the forum and not be a stranger. Thanks to everyone (too many names to list here) on the forum for the help, guidance, and mentoring over the years. I have said this before, and I will repeat it, this is the best internet forum that I have been associated with. I wish you all the best and enjoy the awesome truck that Ford built!!
Prakash, I hope the rest of the year treats you a little better, it has been a rough time for a lot of folks but I think things will soon be getting much better all around. If the EX evolved into something other than the perfect vehicle for what your plans are, it's time to let it go and I'm glad to hear that you already have a new ride that matches your plans. Looking forward to your drop-ins to keep us updated on your adventures! Good luck my friend.

The big challenge was to get my wife to share driving duties when on long trips. She's not too tall, and finds driving the big truck a bit too intimidating. So, decided to downsize and got a Lexus LX470 instead. Happy wife!!

The second row captains seats I sold him never got installed?
I had Nicmike pick them up for me while he was up that way. I think this is the member he got them from. Did I get him in trouble? Haha
If it matters I still haven’t done the swap yet either. Waiting on my son to get out of his booster seat. Those things are hell on seats!
Na, I had a set I sold to unleashd, we met halfway in maybe WV Feb/March 2019, I remember him having them recovered, I thought he had installed them too.
The 2000 models don't have the holes/nut/backing plates in the floor, so I opted not to molest my X to install them.

You are correct. Mike picked them up from me for you.
