Fog lights
I think mounting them in the bumper, is a very clean way to do it, and if I had a bumper with factory cut outs that is probably what I would have done.
Not sure if your 1995 F-150 is a 4x4 or 2WD. If yours is a 2WD, take a look what I did on my 1995 F-150 Eddie Bauer (left truck), put driving lamps in the lower valance openings, just like the SVT Lightning's. Got the driving lamps out of the junk yard off an 1998 loaded up Ford Explorer, buffed the lenses using polishing compound and then turtle wax liquid polish. Sourced the lower valance from LMR, it's a CERVINI and painted it satin black. Reason I installed the lower valance, for the air dam directing air to my front brake descending Sierra mountain grades that would cause me noticeable brake fade. Since installing the lower valance, I hadn't experienced the brake fade anymore.

2019 f250 bumper CPAddicts mounts..... 😅 haven’t wired up the dogs yet though. They are Mishimotto.

They are about the same size lamp housing, but have dual white driving lights, and yellow fog lights in one.
I then bought yellow bulbs.

Toork, what LED bulbs did you use for your headlights? I think the bumper conversion looks good on the 250 and the 350s. I don't think those bumpers would look right on my F-150 Eddie Bauer.
I'm wondering where you put the switch in the dash. I wouldn't want to do any cutting.
placed in new replacement glass. They are super bright.
Hella 550 series work the best and look factory. They are available in clear fog, amber fog, and driving for use as aux high beams. They can be mounted with home made brackets using a flat bar with holes drilled in it. Wouldn't go with anything else.
For headlights the best thing is OEM Ford or TYC replacements with quality clear bulbs like Philips Xtreme Vision, GE Nighthawk, or Philips Xtravison and a relay kit.
There are currently no LED headlight bulbs that are suitable for use to replace a halogen bulb and none are DOT approved since they do not produce a good beam pattern and just create excessive glare.
For switch mounting, I have cut the instrument cluster bezel on all my trucks to install a factory looking fog light switch in the empty square blank slot like a first gen Lightning. If you look for Toyota style fog light switches on Ebay you can find one. If you use a dremel it is easy to do, just go slowly until it is large enough and make sure it is centered. I made a template out of posterboard.
There is good info here about headlights etc. https://www.danielsternlighting.com/

Why do some people love LED and say the work great? I like your idea. Can you take a picture of the back side where it mounts?
I did exactly like TEXASGUY001 indicated. The square slot on the instrument cluster, I cut an opening for my driving lamp switch. Used an after-market plastic ~ 7/8" round rocker switch that has a tiny blue light LED light and illuminates when the switch is energized. Being honest and even though I do like lights, the tiny blue LED is too bright at night speaking for myself. Might try darkening the tiny LED light with a brown or black sharpie. Those lights really complement your bumper and entire front end.
If you haven't yet taken your plastic instrument panel off, be careful and don't be surprised if you find the mounting holes and ears cracked. I replaced both instrument plastic panels in the 95 F-150s Eddie Bauer and Lightning because of there mounting holes and mounting tab / ears being cracked beyond JB Weld repair.
