Alright I got a 1995 351 F250, and I was doing 70 down the freeway and she just shut off. Not sputter no stall just shut off. It cranks, and sounds like it wants to run. No milkshake in the oil or radiator. No new leaks. Honestly my Coolant temp sensor went out last month and I’ve been lazy and haven’t done it so idk where temp was but i could grab the upper hose for a few seconds before it was to hot.
it looked like maybe it popped a CEL but I don’t have OBD1 scanner, any ideas?
Distributor still spins, wouldn’t the Crankshaft position sensor throw a code? I haven’t ruled that out yet but I just feel my computer would know what the problem was at that point.
Problem has been solved also these trucks don’t have a CSPS they use the PIP in the distributor which is exactly what was wrong with mine, so new distributor and she fired right up. Thanks all for the ideas.
