I ordered mine over a month ago and it got a 2nd week July build date . in theory I should see it in August but due to shortages I don't expect to. if you ordered today you'd have to be on crack to believe you're going to see it before September even if everything goes perfect.
3.31 gears ? unless you're towing heavy loads all the time absolutely. this isn't a small block with a 4 spd so don't choose gears as if it was.
How did you get a build date when they didn't start scheduling 2022's yet?
I highly suggest you find a truck as close to your build as possible that is currently in stock and buy it immediately.
Agreed.
Within just this last week, we snatched up two 2021 F-550's, and one 2021 F-600. None were like what I would have ordered, but all of which are now birds in hand, rather than birds hiding in a bush that seems to keep getting bigger and further away.
Fleet account, fleet orders get a build date code not a priority code. but of course it's a target date not a set date, if it gets built in August I'll feel lucky.
That's a ridiculous assessment. Order now and you're at the front of the line after the initial stock orders, which start June 24th. Aug/Sep is much more likely.
Yup, I was quoted more than likely 10-16 weeks for a 2022. Which isn't too bad if you're not in a hurry.
I’d wait. The bigger screen alone may be worth it.
I was ready to buy a new truck in 18’, but with all of the updates coming to the 20’, I waited and it was without a doubt the right move.
OP I'd wait for a long time. 2023? They are making changes to seats, etc. I hate my 19. Miss my 2016 so much. Seats are horrible in this 2019. The truck is way too high to get in and out of bed, steering is horrible as well. Adaptive steering is bad. Vent's for A/C are aweful too. Can't turn the air away like the 16's. More things to squawk about but this would make a long post.
In short if I could off this and get into a low mileage 16 I would in a heart beat. Again I can't stand this thing. I've owned a 2001,2002,2008,2011,2016 F350 Lariets. Plus some Ram's before these. This 19 has run good with 42k but so did my16. Still hate this thing. I can throw up thinking about the money I spent to get into this and now hate it. Plow hook up and truck camper hooups made it worse. My 16 had 150k and still running fine. Could of bought a low mileage 16 and offed my `16 with 150k or kept it awhile.

Then sell it. Used market is hot. Stop whinning.
Edit - Sorry for the tone. Reading this thread put me in a foul mood.

Understood. Hard to suck it up. Biggest blunder of my life. But can't sell it. No means to do what I want. Need it for work and how to replace with something fast etc. Don't have any cash to do it with. Dealer didn't offer any help. Basically said suck it up.
On a side note rode in my son's 2006 F350 Dually. So nice. Seats A1. Low height, can see out the rear window for loading the truck camper. Son agrees so it's not in my mind.
