Skittery Front end

Hello- New to the F150 list. I have a 1990 F150 - I6, auto, 2wd 124k. I just had the upper & lower ball joints done on the right side. Tightened up
the slope in the front end. I would like some advice regarding shocks. At hi-way speeds the truck seems to skitter a little while going over bumps and feels a little "floaty" while driving on back roads. Nothing drastic, but may
be cause for concern. I just bought the truck and knew about the Ball joint problem. My old truck was an 1994 Explorer LTD which are known to be a bit bouncy and tight, so I may be experiencing something normal. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Bill

do you possibly know how old the shocks are?

when you go over any little noles in the road...your truck should follow...if it seems like it is a little bouncy..then it sounds like shocks

Just bought the truck, so I don't know the history of the shocks. When I hit little bumps the front feels like it's moved sideway a couple of inches. Leads me to believe the shocks aren't reactive enough. Somebody also said the sway bar may be suspect.

J - Yep same issue probably... do you have any recommends for shocks, I'm looking for a solid ride feel, no off-roading strength needed.
