Hey there I would like some help decoding or figuring out what I'm looking at. The add says 1968 F250 4x4 but the truck has dual rear wheels. Just wondering if they made such a truck in 68 or should this truck have single wheels on the rear. Vin tag Max GVW is 6800lbs. wheelbase is 131. if you need more details I will get the info.
Either someone installed duals or swapped the rear axle.
Ya I guess they could have just installed the dual wheels with the original axle. Truck now has a deck on it so my plan was to convert it back to a single wheel truck with a box. Thanks for the help
Wow! That is a pretty straight truck! Would be interesting to find out if a DRW axle was swapped in, or the adapter kit. At any rate, you should be able to find a SRW D60 pretty easily. Maybe even in the right gear...
Great looking ride, I would say that may be a regular axle with duals installed. See if the tag is still on the cover and pull the numbers. I bet ND can say if it's an original.
