2000 V10 6.8 motorhome .....found these under the intake manifold ..wonder if someone was messing with me , chipmunk (was lots of chipmunk twigs/leaves etc in there ) transported them or what the heck they are doing there? I don't hear any vacuum leaks , have a good 20 inches of vacuum but is it running rough which I'm trying to track down
I could swear I saw similar caps used to block fittings on an intake hose after the MAF - but I can't remember where I saw it - never on my Fords... Of course, it might have been something from the coach builder and fell onto the engine.
