Anybody seen a custom cab seat that was this color? I thought they were all red. This is Tan. Where the sunlight hasn’t hit it it has a slight pinkish hue. It was covered with a green vinyl cover (you can see part of it in the bottom picture) and I got it in a truck load purchase 5-6 years ago.
From the 1956 Dealers Full Color Catalog. In the bottom right corner of the second picture it says "Custom Cab has...... bolsters and facings that are color keyed, red or coppertone, to harmonize with exterior finish."

That’s probably the color then. Very sun bleached. I’ve seen quite a few of the reds but this is the first copper tone one I’ve run across. It looks like there was a pretty serious fire in the seat bottom and slightly caught the seat back. The houndstooth part is the same color as the red ones.
Do you know what color truck that seat came from? The 55 Custom Cab seats had two colors depending on the truck color also, but the vinyl part was a white color and the woven part was green or red. The catalog listed which color seat went with which color truck.
