i’ve had two sets of Michelin‘s and not been satisfied with the longevity of the tires. I purchased my F2 50 super duty at the end of 2017.
I do a lot of interstate driving but I also pull the fifth wheel camper and sometimes do need a tire that has some grip but I don’t necessarily need a full-time off-road tire.
I second Defender LTX. BIL has them on his truck, tows 18k regularly. Nice shoes for his ride.
I tried Continentals on my 2016. Not great. Seems sidewall wasn't as stiff as previous Michelin's and tail was wagging some.
Cooper AT3 XLT is the best all around tire I've ever owned, especially if you're more oriented to street use. Quiet, long lasting, looks cool, excellent wet weather traction.

Perhaps you can tell us what mileage you are seeing from the Michelins ?
I've ran them on my truck for years and usually get about 70K miles from them.

I've had excellent luck with the General Grabber HTS60's.
Now, I run pretty much exclusively on the highway, tow heavy 50% of the time, always get better than 80K miles out of them, some have gone over 90K miles.
They are not off-road tires, very much a highway tread, low rolling resistance, great road handling and fuel economy.
