Master Cylinder Pic
So ive had issues for years with my brakes.I had the sinking pedal issue which i replaced master cylinder, then abs module But ive always had less than par, braking power. It seems like almost all the power is in the front. Im wondering if i got the wrong master cylinder in there. I have an 2001 4 wheel disc brake setup. Am i supposed to have a proportioning valve on the master? Can someone take a pic of theres to verify?

Go to RockAuto and look up your year, make, model and engine size. Then go to brakes and look at the Motorcraft master cylinders and look at pictures. They list 2. One has a proportioning valve, one doesn't dependent on with/without cruise control.
